Forrester conducted interviews with a global manufacturing firm and found that the company realized operational savings associated with reduced power and cooling requirements, operational savings due to lower labor effort required to deploy and manage the virtualized server environment, and cost avoidance through not having to maintain or upgrade the legacy server environment.
